Traditional watercolor illustration of a chapter in Charles Lutwidge Dodgson's novel Alice in Wonderland. I chose to illustrate Chapter Five: Advice From a Caterpillar. This problem specified a spread with one full size illustration on the left page and a smaller spot illustration opposite on the right. The two had to work with each other as well as with the story.
